Budget Propane in the Community - Firefighter Training

In September, Budget Propane and Moore Propane helped with emergency propane training for the surrounding Fire Departments. The 2-day flammable gas and liquid training was conducted by Emergency Response Assistance Canada (ERAC) at Station 3 in Port Sydney, and trained upwards of 25 volunteer firefighters.

"For the past several years Muskoka firefighters have been able to receive valuable propane handling training right here in their community – instead of driving hours elsewhere – thanks to two local companies", Gary Monahan, Deputy Chief with Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department said.

Budget Propane Supports Teen Challenge

Budget Propane would like to shine a light on a program called Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is an organization that helps many people rehabilitate from alcohol and drug addictions all over the world. They have 15 centres in Canada, and over 1,000 worldwide. Their mission is to help men and women overcome substance addictions and to lead full and productive lives.

Budget Propane Ontario at the Muskoka Motorcycle Rally, Gravenhurst

On Friday July 19 - Saturday July 20 - Budget Propane Ontario was a vendor at the Muskoka Motorcycle Rally in Gravenhurst. The weather was perfect and we had lots of fun participating in this local event. Activities included demo rides, live bands, Police Motorcycle Skills Demonstration, a Sunset Curise, Food Vendor area and Beer Garden.

Budget Propane Ontario Supports Epic BBQ ~ An Evening of Legends!

On May 23, 2013 Budget Propane Ontario was pleased to support the event Epic BBQ ~ An Evening of Legends, to raise money for The Ride to Conquer Cancer, The Canadian Olympic Foundation, Gold Medal Plates, Hospice King-Aurora, The Special Olympics, and a couple of local families in need of some help. Budget Propane had a VIP Table and donated propane to heat the tent and patio.
