How To Check Propane Levels on Your RV or Trailer

Posted by David Terry on Sun, Feb 24, 2013 @ 12:52 PM

If you own an RV or trailer, you know it can sometimes be difficult to determine exactly how much propane you have left in your tank.

One smart method is to install a gauge on one of your propane tanks.

With an automatic changeover regulator, you’ll be able to track exactly how much propane is left in your remaining tank. An even more convenient method is to use an alternative propane gauge that tapes to the side of your tank.

As you pour hot water over the tank with the gauge attached, you’ll be able to see the precise level of propane remaining.
