Wait… what happened to summer? It was only a few short months ago that we were all enjoying a warm sunny Summer and Fall, filled with all the things we dreamed up of doing after the last long winter we had. Well, here we are again, cooler temperatures, snow squalls, threats of polar vortexes, and wondering what myriad of precipitation the next week will bring. The days of jumping off the dock, going for nice walk in the afternoon wearing shorts and sandals, or camping and exploring in one of our fine provincial parks is now in our rearview mirror.
Our Team at Budget Propane have been preparing for this upcoming winter during those warm months. Point in fact, we never stop preparing. Recently we have upgraded some of our software systems, implemented new processes and procedures, hired even more dedicated staff, applied more specialized training, and added yet more best-in-class equipment. As our CEO and mentor Bob Callow always says, “We will never be the biggest but that does not mean we cannot be the best”.
We have an amazing and dedicated team of Customer Service Representatives, a highly focused Dispatch team, and an incredibly hard-working Delivery Driving Team. I am very proud of all our staff. They are local, know the area, and understand what it means to work for a family business… that we are extremely focused on customer service. I have travelled much of rural United States, along with travelling coast to coast in Canada, and I can honestly say that we deliver propane in some of the toughest conditions in all of North America. Our professional delivery drivers navigate some very steep roads and driveways, all while dealing with lake effect snowstorms and temperatures that can warm and cool overnight making driveways treacherous with ice. I often tell people that we have some of the best drivers in any trucking industry, and I firmly believe that. With that being said, we do need your help. Snow accumulation can make delivery to the propane tanks extremely difficult. Keeping your driveways clear and well prepped, along with a path to the tank will help our drivers do what they do best, the delivery of clean propane energy.
On behalf of all the staff here at Budget Propane, we sincerely thank you for your continued business. It is never taken for granted. We wish you and your family all the best in the upcoming 2026 Year!
Sincerely, James Callow President
