"I'm a very happy Budget customer for many reasons, but the first is your wonderful staff. Last year I miscalculated my wood supply (or was outsmarted by a winter that never wanted to leave), and hung in, doling out the propane carefully, calling the 1-800 number regularly to check the litre price. Everyone was very patient with me, answering my "crystal ball" questions as best they could!
This year the wood I'd ordered got damaged by the long wet summer and it looked like it would be a propane winter, so I got on the phone to get the price locked in and it was done immediately. I thought there might have been a problem because I was a will-call customer who only needed a top-up every year to 14 months, and I thought this was very gracious of Budget to accomodate me with the lock-in. Coincidentally I mentioned this to my neighbour, who snorted and said he'd been a Superior customer for 38 years and his rate was higher! Yay, Budget!
Then came your letter offering a bonus, and I wrestled with that one because I live way out here on a tertiary road/goat track and municipal ploughing is not predictable (although they do a great job), and didn't want to waste anyone's time by being inaccessible. After discussing it at length with Lisa at the 1-800 number, she assured me it would be no problem, so being a bargain-hunter by nature I went with it, and I thank you for your generosity.
I've worked in enough places to know that the person at the top sets the tone for the whole place, so good job!"
