We have recently experienced one of the coldest Decembers in recent history. We have also endured subarctic temperatures for just over three weeks straight. The temperatures have impacted our ability to deliver propane in a timely and efficient manner. Quite simply, as a result of such sustained and prolonged cold temperatures everyone has been consuming propane at a faster rate than we can deliver it. This coupled with extremely difficult driving conditions, it has put a large strain on the delivery of propane for the entire industry, let alone for our region.

In order to help our customers as best as we can, we are currently prioritizing deliveries to those customers whose tank levels are the lowest each and every day. We have delivery trucks operating 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Drivers are maxing out on hours to the extent that the law will allow. We are continually adding to our driver force. We have been adding as many extra shifts as possible.

This is a very difficult time for everyone and we kindly ask that you:

  • Monitor your propane tank level closely
  • To contact us by email or by phone if the tank level drops below 25%. Because of such a high volume of phone calls, the best method is to register to access your account on our website and request a delivery.
  • If you own a second property, please ensure someone is routinely checking in on your property.

 

We have very dedicated drivers and passionate staff who are working extremely hard to provide the level of service you have come to expect from us. We are doing everything in our power to improve the situation, and we appreciate your patience during this very difficult period.
